EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SERVICES provides assessment and management referrals. Services are only available to contracted employers, their employees and family members. Problem areas include marital, financial, work, related, alcoholism, drug abuse, emotional, and behavioral issues.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES are the single point of entry for state funded substance abuse treatment services within Polk County. Assessment counselors determine treatment needs, if any, for others referred by the courts, county, private attorneys, treatment and other health and social service providers, family members and those who are self-referred.
STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM provides assessment, referral services, and short-term counseling for troubled students and family members in school districts that contract with EFR for these services. Types of problem areas covered include school related problems, family relationships, alcoholism, drug abuse, emotional and behavioral issues.
