A program where experienced parents of a child with an intellectual or developmental disability are matched with parents who are learning about the challenges of having a child with a disability.
Respite care is designed to give parents or guardians temporary time away from the everyday responsibilities of caring for a child or adult with an intellectual or related disability. The Arc provides an array of opportunities for consumers to enjoy while their primary caregiver takes a break.
