    THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS - NORTH CENTRAL IOWA CHAPTER offers a monthly support group which is open to every bereaved parent, grandparent and to any bereaved sibling interested in a mutual assistance self-help model. Also offers a quarterly newsletter, lending library (books, pamphlets, or tapes on many aspects of the grief process), memorial programs to honor children and member speakers for professional or lay groups, who are interested in learning more about parental and sibling grief and how to be more supportive of people grieving the loss of a child.
