Provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence. Services include shelters for those affected by domestic violence and Outreach Services. Shelter location is confidential and not available to the general public. Outreach Services include counseling, court assistance and public education and presentations. Services also include support groups for victims and survivors in Polk and Warren counties. Child Advocacy services in Polk and Warren counties.
Crisis Line is answered by a trained domestic violence advocate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Victims of domestic violence or their friends and family members can receive counseling, information and education about domestic abuse issues.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline number is (800) 799-7233 where advocates can refer callers to their local domestic violence project.
