Assists discharged (under conditions other than dishonorable) veterans, their wives, widows, and dependent children with basic needs of life such as food voucher, shelter, utilities, personal grooming items, clothing and catastrophic medical bills. Assistance with applications for pensions, schooling, home loans, veterans home and hospital, death benefits and veterans insurance is available. Can also help veterans with CHAMPUS and CHAMPVA forms completion. Any Veteran, regardless of current financial situation, can apply for any relief they deem an emergency.

Documents Required: Proof of income and expenses for the household for last 30 days, DD214 (discharge papers), the bill requesting assistance for, validation of enrollment into any corresponding Federal, State, or Local assistance programs (DHS, Workforce Development, etc.) and a completed application form from Veterans Affairs.
