  • Women, Infants, Children Supplemental Food Program - Jasper

    WOMEN, INFANT, AND CHILDREN'S SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM (WIC) provides foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk, cheese, juice, cereal, peanut butter, and/or beans to pregnant / breast feeding women and children, up to the age of 5 years on an EBT card, also known as eWIC. Infants are eligible to receive infant formula. Breast feeding women receive additional food benefits and are eligible for a breast pump. WIC is able to provide hospital grade, double electric breast pumps to WIC participants free of cost. WIC participants meet income guidelines of 185% poverty or below. Income is verified every year.

    LOCATIONS: Newton WIC at the Newton Salvation Army, Colfax WIC at the Howard Street Christian Church. Appointments are strongly recommended and can be scheduled by calling.
