    Agency: Child Saving Institute

    Developmental Childcare – accredited daily child care services for children six weeks to six years old with a focus on the development of emotional and social skills and school readiness. Child care available at two sites 4545 Dodge Street (Title XX accepted) and 6908 Mercy Road.

    KidSquad - a consultation service provided to Omaha child care centers by CSI and three other human service agencies to address emotional and behavioral challenges within classrooms.

    Pediatric Social Work - developmental screenings for infants and young children and post-partum depression screenings for mothers provided in pediatricians' offices, with referrals for follow up services and in-home support as needed.

    Parenting Education Workshops – featuring topic-specific programs centered on positive parenting and family management. Topics include child development, self-care techniques, successful school strategies, and household management (budgeting, shopping, utilities education, established routines, etc.)

    School-based Services – SAFE -- in-home and in-school support provided to elementary and middle school students in the Omaha Public School district and their families.

    Teen and Young Parent Program - for parents up to age 25 who are pregnant or parenting to help them develop positive parenting skills and learn about healthy early childhood development.  

    Therapy – individual and family therapy services with a focus on children and youth and on the importance of building strong attachments and healthy relationships.

    Family Support – support provided in-home to assist with parenting skills.
    Intensive Family Preservation – in-home parenting instruction.

    Independent Living Skills – training, individual support, and group support for youth 16-and-over who are state wards and anticipate aging-out of the child welfare system.

    Adoption Services – provision of home studies, training, support, and consultation with the intention of expanding families through various adoption options.

    Residential Services - emergency shelter for adolescents in need of temporary placement and 24/7 care.
