  • Extreme Heat Cooling Center

    Agency: Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department

    The Christian Conference Center, 5064 Lincoln Street, Newton 50208, is opening it's doors August 15-Augut 16, 2020 to offer a cooling center/charging station for those without power and in need of relief in the Jasper County area. The Center will be open from 8 am-8 pm this weekend. 

    If you want to call ahead to arrange a shower time you can - if you cannot call you can walk in for further assistance. The gym is open and a place to charge electrical devices will be provided.
