8/14/2020 - Due to the Derecho Windstorm that swept through Iowa a lot of Des Moines residents are still without power. Daytime Cooling and Charging Centers have been opened so those without power can go to cool off and recharge items they may need, such as medical equipment. Masks are required at all locations.
