  • Single Room Occupancy Rentals

    Agency: Open Door Mission

    Permanent supportive housing rental units for single men and male veterans.  Free housing units for Life Changing, 12 step recovery, and vocational work program clients.

    Housing includes all meals, utilities, furnishings, and a land line telephone.  Other building and unit amenities available.

  • New Life Recovery Program

    Bible-based 12-step residential program for men, women, and families.

  • Worknet Classes

    Job readiness classes open to residents and the community, including GED and ESL.

  • Donation Center

    Accepts donations such as vehicles, and gently used furniture, clothing, household items, etc.  

    (Due to the increased cost of gasoline, staffing, and fleet maintenance, Open Door Mission is not able to offer pick up service.)

    Access point for the community's homeless response system.  Individuals and families who are at imminent risk of homelessness (with no house, apartment, etc. to stay tonight) will complete an assessment and receive help to find housing options.

    Free Drive-thru event on November 21st 2020 from 11:30 am-2:30 pm at the Garland Thompson Men's Center.

    Pre-cooked Traditional Turkey dinner containing Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn and cranberries packaged in to-go containers.
