    Agency: Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)

    A program for women and men between ages 18-24 years old.  Participants can earn a high School credential, learn new job skills while building homes for Habitat for Humanity, develop a new positive job history, earn Nationally recognized Home Builders Institute- Pre Apprenticeship Training Certificate in carpentry and or weatherization or both, earn OSHA Constructions Certificate, earn Basic Tool safety Certificate, earn First Aid/CPR certificates, earn between five and seven college credits , earn modest financial assistance to help pay for lunches and transportation. Basic construction tools and clothing provided.  Receive job placement support for one year after completion. Spots are limited. Contact, 515-697-7700 or email cfkessler@dmacc.edu.
